Did Someone Say SCREEN TIME?

In a previous post from today I said I'd be finishing one of my long standing drafts... Well I only sorta lied. This post has been just a title for at least the last 2 weeks so, essentially I am finishing one, just not one that I've already spent hours on. That being said I don't plan on spending hours on this one, but if it does take over the course of a few hours, on and off, that's acceptable. =] I plan on buying a domain name for this blog/maybe future blog soon (maybe tonight, def by friday). There are a few for my someday fun-side business/ brand name, and blog type things are included in said plan. I have an Etsy page, but nothing listed, so I'm thinking about making a side one for all my random done bead projects. MMmMMMMMmm Beads.... I do take requests ;]

On to the topic of this silly little post..  I've been trying to diligently track all the movies/ Tv/ anime stuff that I watch (yea, I have screen addictions). All the DVD cases I've been packing back up over the last few months has made it really easy to add a mass amount at one time (not that I'm super close to being done lolz). It's kinda fun making sure, just like my books, that I don't end up rewatching something just because it didn't grab my attention the first time, or it was in the middle of a binge media consumption.

Here's a link to :: my IMDB

If someone has suggestions and it's not on my watched list, watch list, or otherwise list, please message me or comment on here. I'm always up for recommendations ;D

I while writing this, and getting ready for work tomorrow, I am watching Lakey Peterson: Zero to 100. Super good documentary! Another inspiring one. Sometimes I let netflix decide what I'm to watch when. As in when they put end dates on shows and movies, definitely changes priorities. Makes it fun ;]

Time for me to make a late dinner, enjoy your space travels.

Blurghity And Books

Who doesn't like books? I have stacks and stacks sitting around my room, requesting my attention. I've been updating shelfari and goodreads over the last year so I can search tags and categories easily, and to make sure I don't read the same book twice by mistake... but when you're dealing with hundreds of books, possibly over a thousand once everything is accounted for, not the easiest task.

When I last moved, I unloaded every box of book I could find from my storage unit and from my parents basement (although I am missing a few boxes still). The idea was I could go through each box and decide if I should keep or downsize my collection. There are books I have from when I was a child. Getting these out gives me the chance to get these over to my brother for his growing family. I love knowing some of my favorite books now have the ability to stay in the family for a while longer.

I spent a lot of today adding to my shelfari, getting dates nearish accurate in date. If anyones on there, hit me up =] I'll eventually get my goodreads up to date, but that process is a bit slower and less visually appealing.

Lately I've been reading a lot of cooking, workout and life efficiency books, but I still make time for good fantasy now and then (see last post lolz). Next year I'd like to continue burning through my physical books that have been stacking up for the last few years >.< There are SO MANY BOOKS! Then Amazon comes along and has a wide ass variety of every genre of book for free or borrow.. or .99 cents which is almost free, or that's the selling point at least. To say the least, I am so far behind =] Not always a bad thing, good reason to lock yourself in a cabin for a few weeks.

I've set aside about five books (three are manga though), to get through before the First. Who knows, maybe time will just take a rest for a while and slow down for a bit. Seriously, it feels like this year went twice as fast as usual. Don't mind me, I'm just bitchin'.

Well, time to make a pesto grilled cheese, and throw on a movie to get ready for the end of my weekend. Ho hum, can't wait for the next week to fly through.. Let's just say I am really, really looking forward to Saturday ;]

Upcoming posts before the end of the year:
Cirque Dreams: Holidaze review/ enjoyment post, movies and shows I have enjoyed through this year, some cooking shenanigans... WITH PHOTOS?!, and hopefully at least a few more.

Life Needs To Slow Down!

Holy crap, this month has blew by, barely enough time to breath. At least, breathing has become easier for my little baby lungs, 6 WEEKS (and some change), NO CIGARETTES!!!! I am so happy to be able to say that now. I told my family at Thanksgiving when I was one day away from a month, and I can say I've never seen my mother so happy. She comes from a smoking-for-decades family, all of her sisters smoked and both parents, so for her child who's been on and off smoking cigs since age 15, this is a major thing. Since starting smoking, I've tried to quit dozens of times, but everytime, I would let some stupid, unavoidable life shit get me back into the mental state that smoking isn't the worst thing in my life, thus making it okay. WELL, NOT ANYMORE.

I don't know if I can say much has changed recently aside from moving and changing my home life situation, but more just a general appreciation for myself. I'm not unhealthy, but I can't truthfully say I feel fit. I can't run (although I am looking to change that now that my lungs aren't exploding), I'm not very athletic, but I've at least just gone by the pants rule for my whole life: If they get tight, get up and move. I am a huge jumper lolz I do plan on trying out a new workout (borrowed from a friend) I tried three of the workouts so far, KICKED MY ASS! Which is always a good thing =]

I really do have a problem just sitting down and typing, my steam of consciousness is usually too ALL OVER THE PLACE. And I am sorry for my use of caps, but... who really cares? Aside from the grammar police..

Well, I have been reading Midwinterblood, almost done, and I have to say it is fantastic. Wonderful, and by coincidence I recently encountered the main plant of the story:: The Dragon Orchid

Such a gorgeous creation. I definitely would like one of my own soon (one of my best friends has billions of rare/tropical plants).

What a What

Hello Sillies, this week has been a what the fuck happened. Well, I know what happened, everything for the last few two to three months at work was adding up to last week/ this following week. Finally, a break in sight!!  Until then, games and heaters have taken over. Now that it's in the fucking negatives in Bromanson, Montaliana, I refuse to leave the house until it is at least temperature gets back to at least zero.

A friend of mine introduced me to one of the best games ever a few days ago:: Plague Inc. Evolved!
You create a plague, whether it be bacteria, virus, fungus, etc, and then you try to wipe out humanity. It is AMAZING. You're racing against how fast you can evolve your plague, how fast humans research a cure, and how fast you can infect humanity VS how fast humans are dying. It's god damn awesome. There are seaports and airports that can be closed down if your plague is getting too much attention.

Seriously good game, I highly suggest picking it up.

Today I woke up early and went to see my biological family. My brother and father were out hunting for most of the morning, trying to find an buck to feed on through the winter. My mother was making breakfast, super delicious pancakes and eggs, nom nom nommm! Good times had by all.

Afterwards I made my way to K-Mart, for a finally-closing-down-after-ten-years sale. 45 dollars and 15 items later, So fashion! So makeup! Possible pictures to come lolz..  Fucking love sales. Also got some warm slipper cuties.

While constructing this post, I've been watching The Den, which was suggested to me by a co-worker who also appreciates some of the good ol' horror genre. Actually turned out to be a pretty good movie all in all.

Hopes for the day (what's left of it anyway):: Update IMDB, then shelfari (it's been a month or so, and I've been going through storage so there's quite a lot to update lolz), do some chores (boo!), play with a few of my new face toys, workout a bit, either finish a post I already started or just babble some more and mentally prep myself for being shorted a weekend day (I go into work for four hours tomorrow).

Stay warm, there are creeps out there.

Yea Yea

Yea, I've been terrible. I was planning on posting and then updating my Shelfari and IMDB.... but I ended up just making crazy AMAZING salad, and watching some very good tv. Super good evening in any case. My kitty's been cuddling me all night, It's fucking negative degrees outside up north, and I'm going to stretch for a bit before hitting the sack tonight.

I did end up getting lost on tumblr for a moment, just reblogging and liking some good imagery, and seeing what the terrible worlds up to.. social media wise at least.

Work today was pretty stellar, I do enjoy learning tiny tidbits at a time about databases and the like. I would love to go back to college someday, but until either work improves, or I find my passion/niche, life goes on. I'll keep creating and learning, dreaming and exploring. Fuck em all, seriously. This games about me, It's pretty fun.

Anyway, I have three posts in the works, just wanted to make sure I sat down and had a fucking breath of fresh air for a moment. Feels good. Just remember you can always step back and take a walk (You, me, everyone should remember that).

Love ya sweets. ♥

What Happened...

...To My Time Today?

Weekdays just feel like a time suck.. Most of the time, I wake up before the sun's over the mountains, hating having to get up from my warm cocoon. I haven't been able to remember my dreams for about nine or ten months now... There's probably a lot of factors for that though. I've been sleeping very soundly at least. Getting ready for work is at least a fairly peaceful routine at this point. Wake up, hit snooze, roll over, turn on heater, pet Fuego (cat), lay in front of heater for fifteen minutes.. Oh that's the best part right? Brush teeth. then hair, yawn, and now it's time for a heater break. Wash face, little bit of makeup and it's time to try to get out the door.

It seems to be impossible for me to get to work at 7am on the dot. I figure since I don't take smoke breaks like 50% of my colleagues (anymore at least. Recently on the quitting team again) trying to make it in at least by fifteen after should suffice. Eh, whatever.. The other reasoning is that at least 2 days a week I stay an hour or two late.

My day to day job is... hard to explain. Everything you'd expect from a service desk. Phones ringing, emails flying, issues, other peoples issues (end users and vendors, urgh), and ID10T errors ALL over the board (Your own department, somewhere in the building, someone outside, no where is safe from this plague!). Blah, blah, blah. I'm not going to jab about a place I don't enjoy, so let's skip to the end. Driving home is always the best part (Aside from the coffee bar and its lovely ladies!); loud music and a quick drive through a pile of traffic.

Once home, I usually end up zoning out and de-stressing for an hour. Time just flies. Whether I'm just laying on my bed (usually petting Fuego), reading or throwing on a show for a bit, it's seriously the best way to forget that eight to ten hours that just happened. Today specifically, I finished Moon Phase (super cute anime) then took a really long shower, testing out some new hair mask deep conditioner. Mmmm, feels so good.

Being single is making my eating a bit interesting. Tonight I made a delicious spaghetti pizza extravaganza. With cheese topping of course. I know, this could be scandalous, but don't worry, it's like 5 meals for me. Super delicious good times. Afterwards I set up some new toys; I did buy a cute little bluetooth keyboard for my kindle, so I can keep this "blog everyday" thing up. It's good to try to keep this expectation of myself. Who knows what could happen! lolz Anyway..

More anime (Heaven's Lost Property) and some laziness and it's all the sudden super late. Last things on my to do list for the night are bloggy blog blog (yay) and the feeding Mr. Gunnzilla (Officially Charles Gunn II(Gecko friend)). Should I have made an attempt to run to the post office today, but at least I got leftovers made for the next few days.

Well better go make sure that little cutie has some foodstuff. Till next time.
